Kaylee Caniff will be a senior at Notre Dame this fall and is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is majoring in psychology and pre-health studies, but has many academic interests outside of her majors. She is interested in all aspects of neuroscience: from the molecular and cellular level of the nervous system to the study of the cognitive and behavioral functions of the brain. This summer, she is studying the neurotransmitter GABA in primary amphibian brain cell cultures.
